Cheeseburgerless Pizza
A new twist on an old favorite. With a few substituted ingredients, a vegan friendly "cheeseburger" pizza can be achieved fairly easy. Everything you need for this recipe can be found at your local super Walmart and whole foods.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 13.7 oz bags of Gardein's "The Ultimate beefless ground beef"
- 1 8 oz bags of So Delicious Dairy Free 'Cheddar Jack' Shredded
- 2 tbs of basil (optional)
- 1 tbs of minced garlic
- 1 ½ of small diced onion
- 1 14 oz of Prego Pizza sauce “pizzeria style”
- 1 13.8 oz of pillsbury pizza crust “classic crust”
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS


1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2.Warm 'ground beef', green pepper, basil, and garlic in a large pan on low-medium heat. Stir occasional.
3.Grease pan with vegetable oil before placing dough on tray. Cook pizza dough for 6-10 minutes on 400 degrees.
4. Remove dough from oven and Assemble layers on pizza (light to heavy amounts of pasta sauce.)
5. Add remainder sauce to “ground beef” mix then pour onto pizza evenly. Add cheese on top.
5. Cook in oven for 10-12 minutes or until all the cheese has melted.
6. Remove from oven and enjoy!
