Teriyaki Ramen Noodles
I know what you're thinking...ramen noodles, really? Surprisingly if you remove the seasoning packet ramen noodles can be used in quick vegan recipes. Is it the healthiest pasta? Probably not but its cheap and vegan friendly.
INGREDIENTS
- Salt (optional)
- 1 tsp Honey
- ½ cup of frozen broccoli florets
- Black Pepper (optional)
- 4 Tbs teriyaki sauce (add more if desired)
- ½ cup of canned whole kernel sweet corn
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
- Bring a small sauce pan of water to a boil. Add Ramen noodles. (Add more water if noodles are not fully submerged.) *Don’t break noodles unless you desire short noodles.
- Cook on medium high heat for 5 minutes (or until noodles are tender). Drain water. Leave 2-3 Tablespoons of water with noodles.
- Cook broccoli in microwave for 8 minutes (or until broccoli is no longer frozen).
- Add teriyaki sauce, salt, honey and pepper to noodles.
- Add corn and broccoli to noodles.
*Add more teriyaki sauce if desired.
